The purpose of this paper is to explore the role of intergenerational mentorship in the lives of young mothers, and how transformational mentorship can be used to enhance skills, build relationships, and promote success among generations of Latinx mothers. In particular, this paper focuses on the role of intergenerational storytelling in discussing challenges Latinx Pregnant & Parenting Youth (PPY) face and purveying approaches to address and overcome these challenges. Using a Reproductive Justice lens and Latina Feminist Epistemologies of Teaching and Learning, this qualitative study examines perspectives of Latinx mentors and mentees participating in an intergenerational mentorship program for PPY attending an alternative high school in Chicago.
