Taxonomy of Ingenuity and Connectedness: A Post-Bloom-Era Wave in Education

Abstract

Outcome Based Education is a promising area of research. The 21st century learning skills and instructional approaches owe much to the increased attention in this direction. The Taxonomy of Ingenuity and Connectedness (TIC), which was designed as a gap-filler to the contributions of a series of exciting instructional cum learning strategies, assumes much significance in this context. The paper narrates the design of the new taxonomy of educational objectives namely Taxonomy of Ingenuity and Connectedness as a Post-Bloom Wave in learning architecture and designing of classroom process in the post-modern era. The paper also narrates the functional significance of a software platform called TicEasy.com designed to augment the use of the new taxonomy.
