In response to the conference theme Accepting Educational Responsibility, we discuss ongoing research that explores students’ engagement with art practice as an ethical, curatorial embodiment of place. The process of curation as a practice of selection and juxtaposition will be used to explore two sites of research practice that explore artistic practices who used filmmaking as a curation of the pandemic home. Pink and Mackley (2016) argue that participants in their study created an affective atmosphere of home through specific timely routines drawn from the everyday. Drawing on these understandings, the presenters will explore how non-artist and artist participants curated their home through vignettes of student films of the everydayness of the pandemic home.
