This participant, an elementary school principal, examines the complicated issues that arise when parents seek out school partnerships in the creation of learning pods. Should schools be partners in such endeavors? Are their reasons to support the creation of learning pods by parents who may be essential workers or lack resources otherwise to support their children during remote learning, but not parents who are more well-resourced? What about when well-resourced parents reach out to schools to help them create equitable, inclusive learning pods? What responsibilities do educators have to these parents and their students?
