Using PhotoVoice and Constructivist Grounded Theory to Build a Transborder Identity Model

Abstract

In this study we present the use of photovoice and constructivist grounded theory to build a transborder identity model for Transfronterizx college students from the San Diego- Tijuana border region. Photovoice and constructivist grounded theory are utilized as guiding methodological approaches for the study of identity development through the implementation of visual thinking strategy and multimodal analysis of focus groups and one-on-one interviews.
