There are no soft-skill curricula in the K-12 school system that are fully developed with direct instruction and assessments. It is likely that the K-12 implementation of developed curricula depends on the existence of validated program assessments as accountability measures, but program assessments cannot be properly validated without first measuring the effectiveness of existing curricula. Measuring summer camp programs might serve to help validate program assessments. In this study, a summer camp that purports to teach soft skills will be evaluated for instructional effectiveness using rubrics that were intended for individuals to measure participant's soft-skill growth throughout their internship.
