Program Design. Educating Future Teacher Educators of Color to Talk About Race in Teacher Edcuation

Abstract

This presentation focuses on the experiences of 12 future teacher Educators of Color in course designed for racial literacy. Preparing Educators of Color requires specific attention to curriculum, coursework, and discourses that center race and racism and thus capitalizes on what was missing in their teacher education preparation.
