Session Type: Roundtable Session
As citizen-scholars, we accept greater responsibility for social problems that plague our world and acknowledge our work is grounded in space, place, and time. These past, present, and futures of education touch our work as we present our findings on the K-12 educational responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. Presenters from various educational spaces and geographic locations will present on community-based administrative responses, the realities of English learner families, the experiences of students, families, and school leaders related to student attendance and absenteeism, and the teacher perceptions of the shift to online/virtual delivery. These presenters should engage multiple stakeholders in considering how to more effectively respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, thereby supporting educational possibilities for all.
