Session Type: Symposium
The goals of this symposium are twofold. First, it represents an opportunity to explore the interplay between reading and writing within the context of multiple source tasks. Currently, far too little is understood about the facilitative or complicating role that writing plays in such tasks. Second, this symposium is intended to function as a platform for introducing new approaches and techniques for task implementation or data gathering when multiple texts are involved. Together, these goals should serve to move the research on multiple source tasks forward and offer guidance for educational practice.
