Session Type: Workshop
This interactive symposium provides ways scholars across various identities, regions, and program types have cultivated survival pláticas during the pandemic. Additionally, the social and political climate exacerbated by the global pandemic has propelled the collective scholars to develop a continued community that provides the space to process current experiences in academia. Through a plática led by one of the scholars, they offer insight to how they have navigated their academic journeys during COVID-19 and reimagine engagement, participation, and productivity. While each scholar’s story speaks to their reality, this session opens up the opportunity to intentionally speak to the ways we collectively move with each other.
