Division E’s Fireside Chat will examine the question: "What does educator and clinician responsibility look like during a global pandemic?" During the pandemic, our panelists have been supporting and learning from schools, special education parents and teachers, resettled refugees seeking outpatient mental health care, and clients in an inpatient psychiatric setting. The community experts will share their successes, lessons learned, and experiences navigating various institutions during the pandemic. Attendees will have the opportunity to (1) reflect upon their roles in an unprecedented crisis, (2) learn practical skills to aid their work with the students and clients they serve, and finally, (3) consider implications and supports for educator and clinician well-being. Questions and discussion will be welcomed.
