Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
Since its origins as a Special Interest Group in 1971, Division I has provided a community that fosters lively exchange of ideas, exploration of common challenges, support for professional growth, and top-notch scholarship among educators in the professions. As part of our 50 year celebration of Division I, this session will prompt participants to reflect on the many ways Division I has affected the professional lives of its members. Dr. O’Sullivan will discuss Division I’s commitment to building community and supporting scholars in professional education. She will ask members of the Division to share their reflections on the meaning and value of Division I in their professional journeys and what keeps them coming back to Division I.
