Collaborative learning of educators receives increasing attention of researchers, schools and policymakers. Professional Learning Networks (PLNs) support collaborative learning amongst groups of educators (e.g., teachers, school leaders and often researchers) who are engaging outside of their everyday community of practice with the intention to improve teaching and student learning. PLN participants need to successfully share and further develop knowledge created within the PLN with other colleagues in their schools and other institutions. This process is called Knowledge Mobilization (KMb). In this interactive ICSEI-organized symposium we bring together insights from different countries and contexts to thoroughly examine KMb approaches and their impact, to inspire researchers, practitioners and policymakers in further developing theory, practice and support for knowledge mobilization in PLNs.
