What is made possible by engaged scholar-activism in pursuits for social-justice & liberation? How do community organizers/ activists navigate the demands of academia while remaining grounded & centered in communities? In this session, panelists will engage a critical dialogue about the responsibility, power and possibilities of engaged scholar-activism in community-based research.The session provides a space for community-organizers/scholar-activists to engage a timely discussions about ways education scholars can work in partnership with local communities toward advancing educational change.
