Abstract

Special education high-leverage practices (HLP) are promoted as essential for supporting the educational needs of students with disabilities. Despite the recent push for the utilization of high-leverage practices (HLPs) around students with disabilities, little is known about how current educators utilize these practices. The following study utilized a Q-sort survey with open-ended questions to explore special and general educators’ perspectives on the utility of the HLPs. Findings and implications are discussed.
