Internationalization of Higher Education During the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Case Study of William & Mary

With a purpose of exploring internationalization in higher education, this study uses a case study approach and reports data collected from faculty members at William & Mary regarding their perceptions of internationalization efforts on campus during the COVID-19 pandemic. Findings highlight high levels of engagement and interest in a range of international activities, and a desire to see internationalization elevated as a campus priority. Interest in sustainable practices for post COVID-19 programs and experiences, based on both traditional and newfound practices, as well as technological connections were enthusiastically advocated.
