Drawing from author one’s narrative inquiry alongside Fatima, a Muslim mother of a child with dis/abilities who recently arrived in Canada as refugees, we inquire into our resonant tensions, threads, and wonders as narrative inquirers committed to living ethical relationality (Donald, 2016). Through our shared process of thinking alongside author one and her stories of coming into relationship with Fatima, several resonant threads, tensions, and wonders emerged. We highlight and inquire into these by centering the relational ethics of coming alongside co-inquirers in good ways (Young, 2005) that are wakeful (Greene, 1995) to the multiplicity of stories we live by, with, and in, within and across the many worlds (Lugones, 1987) we inhabit alongside other human and more-than-human beings.
