Abstract

This study compares the interaction patterns of novice and experienced instructor section with SNA and content analysis and how students’ centrality relates to their satisfaction and cognitive presence levels. Results indicate that there are some differences in interaction patterns between the novice and experienced instructor sections. This research also found that significant difference in students’ satisfaction between the sections. Finally, significantly negative correlation was found between students’ centrality and their satisfaction with the course.
