In the present article, data from a doctorate research that interviewed university professors about the future mathematics teachers’ formation to teach geometry, where the bricolage assumptions helped in the development and data analysis, were shown. The perception in some reports of this research evidenced elements of Oppression, in the context described and presented by Paulo Freire. From reading excerpts of the interviews mentioned above, some professors’ perceptions about their students seem to influence the way in which the classes are taught and this teaching way, in turn, shows indications of its reproduction by the professors in their formation moment, characterizing the maintenance of this Oppressor scenario.
