Abstract

Advising is essential to graduate student completion. Yet, the different advising students experience remains uncertain in higher education literature. Findings from 42 one-on-one interviews offers insights into the strong, basic, and weak advising graduate students experience and introduces a new framework of care and wholeness for graduate advising.
