School closures due to natural phenomena, such as COVID-19, have accentuated gaps in access to science education in the United States of America, particularly for young students. While educators pivot to deliver virtual instruction, it is important to identify feasible remote learning strategies for science content. Our study describes the implementation of a multiplatform science learning program in an unpredictable distance and hybrid learning environment due to COVID-19 and its impact on students’ engagement and science learning.
