Abstract

In recent years, transnational higher education (TNHE) is popular with Chinese students and their parents. Sino-Foreign cooperative universities have attracted many outstanding students to have their academic life. However, due to the different cultural differences between Chinese cultures and other cultures, Chinese undergraduates in TNHE cannot adapt well at first, especially on learning new disciplinary knowledge. The purpose of this article is to provide a theoretical framework that visualizes how to make the transfer of learning (ToL) of Chinese undergraduates effective and efficient in a cross-cultural environment. Also, help these students adapt to the new campus life that is pretty different from it in high school.
