"So...Like I'm Responsible for Ending War?" Centering Antiwar Activism in Our Teaching of War

Abstract

This article describes a design study, that centered student voices on political and social activism as it was presented to them through a three week unit of instruction. The instructional unit focused on presenting a more critical analysis of the history of the United States at war and a more robust examination of the history of anti-war activism.
