Taoism and Kabbalah: Cosmic Cultivation Wisdom on Our Higher Being and Implications for Education

Abstract

This paper is to compare two mystical cultivation systems, Taoism and Kabbalah, on their philosophy of the cosmos and life, and their cultivation methods for an expanded awareness and deep understanding of life’s purpose and pursuit. To find similarities, it is necessary to look at the unique qualities of Kabbalah and Taoism. Through reflection on their wisdom and pathways to spiritual growth, we ponder on the revitalization of our life’s higher perspective and new directions in education.
