Abstract

This paper describes a case study of designing and implementing a live-action role-playing game to deliver virtual interprofessional education activities. Given little knowledge and practices in existing research studies, our paper contributes to healthcare education by providing an alternative solution to deliver an interprofessional education learning experience using digital games. This paper elaborates on how the live-action role-playing game is designed and implemented to engage students in virtual interprofessional collaborative practices. In addition, the current study presents a preliminary finding of survey results on students’ perceptions of the virtual interprofessional experience.
