Abstract

The authors of the proposed paper make up a smaller subset of faculty members who participated in an antiracist praxis group from December 2020 to June 2021. The antiracist praxis group was designed as a space for faculty in higher education to develop a shared framework for antiracist teaching, interrogate and redesign their instructional materials and methods, and wrestle with the complexities of enacting antiracist pedagogy. Reporting on the results of a self-study of the group, the authors discuss the central issues and questions they grappled with, as well as pedagogical shifts they made and insights they developed as a result of their participation.
