Designing Virtual-Reality Learning Experiences for Authentic Learning and Fidelity and Learner Self-Efficacy and Learning Transfer

Abstract

Creating realistic learning experiences involves careful consideration of the design of the learning context, comprising the learning tasks and the environment in which learning will occur. In this presentation, we will discuss a research study where we examined whether the authenticity of the learning context and tasks and the collaborative design of the learning activities affected students' perceptions of their learning experience, learning self-efficacy, and their learning transfer.
