This paper intervenes in state mandates around LGBTQ+ history. It explores how/what we can learn from teachers already producing LGBT and queer history curriculum. The study explores the identities, curricular design practices, LGBTQ+ content, and contexts of teachers. It specifically explores the intra-action of LGBT, queer, and queer-ing history designs to explore how teachers engage with the past to produce agentive queer subjectivity.
