The authors propose to facilitate a critical conversation concerning the state of educational supervision. Specifically, we aim to reflect on opportunities supervision should take post-COVID-19 pandemic school disruption in this conversation. Via this conversation, we aim to situate our field in praxis intended to address issues of race and equity within the broader context of social justice. With this critical conversation, the authors will use responses to inform the editing of a forthcoming book intended to offer a pathway to facilitate equity-minded supervision that addresses race and equity issues within educational leadership and teacher education programs and PreK-12 schools and classrooms.
