The PACE-SCOPE early childhood intervention integrates curriculum implementation and teacher training. The goal of the PACE-SCOPE is to improve the quality of teacher-child interaction by providing teachers with engaging and interesting lesson plans and cooperating with one-on-one coaching, workshops, and online interactive learning. We selected 56 classes and 1766 children in a large city to evaluate the effectiveness of the PACE-SOCPE on teacher-child interaction quality improvement. Thirty-three classes were assigned to the experimental group and received PACE-SCOPE intervention. The control group received picture books. We use two-level hierarchical linear models to compare the pre and post-test interaction quality scores measured by CLASS, and we found that the PACE-SCOPE curriculum has significant impacts on emotional support and instructional support development.
