Mon, April 25, 2:30 to 4:00pm PDT (2:30 to 4:00pm PDT), World Educational Research Association Virtual Meeting Rooms, WERA Virtual Meeting Room 1

Abstract

Educators and researchers have consistently sought innovative teaching and learning strategies in the second and foreign language education field. Over the last decade, the term blended learning, also known as hybrid learning, has grown in awareness and practice in language education settings (Klimovaa & Kacetla, 2015). This paper analyzed the literature on foreign language blended learning and explored the research trends from the last decade through a content analysis study. This paper reveals the current research status on foreign language blended learning based on the distribution of the years, countries, and the emerging themes from the studies.
