Book Launch: Online Teaching and Learning in Higher Education During COVID-19: International Perspectives and Experiences (2022) (Poster 1)

Mon, April 25, 4:15 to 5:45pm PDT (4:15 to 5:45pm PDT), World Educational Research Association Virtual Meeting Rooms, WERA Virtual Meeting Room 2

Abstract

This poster documents the immediate, global impacts of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) on online teaching and learning in higher education. Focusing on student and faculty experiences of online and distance education, this poster uses the "Online Teaching and Learning in Higher Education during COVID-19: International Perspectives and Experiences" text published via Routledge to provide teacher-scholars and practitioners with reflections on novel initiatives, unexpected challenges, and lessons learned during the global pandemic. Responding to the urgent need to better understand teaching and learning during the COVID-19 restrictions, the poster highlights how the use of information and communication technologies impacted students, faculty, and staff experiences during the lockdown. A FREE digital copy of the book will be available for all WERA attendees.
