Educational Research Associations in Taiwan and Their Global and Regional Engagement

Abstract

This study examined the development and current status of education research associations in Taiwan, where education research communities have actively engaged in exchange and collaboration with their international counterparts. At the same time, their roles in the development of education policies and practices in local communities were emphasized. The paper presents the history, current conditions, and future perspectives of Taiwan’s education research communities from local, national, regional, and global perspectives.
