Abstract

School Mental Health (SMH) encompasses a full continuum of supports to promote student mental and emotional health that rely on collaboration among numerous school based mental health professionals. Many challenges exist to effective collaboration in SMH implementation, including time and role constraints. Recent research highlights promising and innovative collaborative efforts that break down silos among school based mental health professionals and create equitable, culturally responsive systems that address student mental health.
