Session Type: Working Group Roundtable
The objective of the roundtable is to facilitate for scientific exchange on the topic of how digitalization in schools is affecting home-school relationships and parental involvement in school. The aim is to discuss benefits and challenges for home-school partnerships in an era of digitalization, with a special focus on inclusion and exclusion processes following from this.
Four different presentations address challenges of exclusion and inclusion connected to the use of digital technologies in the area of home-school cooperation. A main aim of the discussions is to reflect upon how we can face the new challenges brought about by digital technologies in this area in order to ensure that existing inequalities are not reinforced and new gaps are not created.
