Session Type: Symposium
The COVID-19 pandemic exposed us to our nation’s and global vulnerabilities. This exposure is causing substantial changes in the form of deliveries and policies for teacher educators who are now grappling with how to re-imagine the preparation of global citizen teachers who possess a full range of knowledge, skills and mindsets so they can be part of re-imagining a pedagogy that answers the question of how to inform our current global educational struggles. In this session, we present scholarship highlighting teaching and research that will spark your imagination and inspire hope as we continue our efforts to create a new and expanded educational space for preparing teachers with competencies for working with diverse stakeholders in local, global, and transnational contexts.
