This session is designed to complicate and trouble ideas about “learning loss” from a variety of perspectives. The panel will address the challenges inherent to quantifying the impact of the pandemic, examine the distinct experiences of BIPOC students and immigrant youth, consider the unique challenges facing special education, and reflect on the ways in which educators have adapted in response to tremendous obstacles.
