Abstract

This session explores a range of issues related to racist, settler colonial, and anti-Black frames and practices in teacher education, and the ways the work of teacher education can be reimagined. Attendees will hear from a panel of scholars who unravel racial harm in teacher education research, policies, curriculum and practices and propose another way that centers the realities and freedom dreams of Black, Indigenous, and people of Color.
