This paper evaluates construct validity in school leadership literature. Construct validity refers to a unifying form of validity for measurements. Network analysis was conducted to examine content validity, defined as the extent to which a measure’s survey items reflect a theoretical content domain. A total of 43 constructs overlapped with one another in 29 articles that used Teaching and Learning International Survey data. The findings suggest a need to prune constructs in school leadership.
