Abstract

Inclusive teaching requires detailed instructions and teachers that approach students with care and a meaningful perspective. This study, with a particular focus on Multilingual learners (MLs), explored how teachers’ technology integration supports inclusive teaching by providing differentiated instruction. Conducted in a public school in New York State, this study found that outcomes were positive when teachers guided students by providing detailed steps coinciding with the integration of various forms of technology. Data collection included participant observations, individual interviews, teachers’ journals, and artifacts. There is little research on inclusive teaching with ML students, and this study provides proactive ideas for the future of teaching.
