Abstract

This study explores 36 curricular materials from TeachersPayTeachers.com (TpT) focused on the teaching of the primary grades topic of American Symbols. We analyze how or whether these materials integrate other content areas with social studies and the implications of that integration on the teaching of powerful social studies.
