Abstract

This research documents, analyzes, and interrogates an educational change effort across a statewide educational network of teachers, families, and community members to promote equitable and inclusive learning environments with technology for all students, particularly those representing intersecting marginalized identities and communities. We identify and analyze the ongoing processes in the form of boundary infrastructures, objects, and practices employed to connect all participants in the technology-mediated network. The opportunities provided to recontextualize and align the work for deepening equitable and inclusive practices with technology are outlined. As collaborations between schools and communities become more important in educational change efforts, this research provides practical and theoretical insights into paths forward to supporting diverse networks organized to promote equity and inclusion.
