Individuals with learning disabilities represent the largest population of people with disabilities in the United States but have received little attention in considerations of accessibility in the informal science learning field. We describe a mixed-methods study of the experiences of youth with learning disabilities (n = 31) as they interact with exhibits at two museums. Findings suggest overall positive experiences and opportunities to improve inclusive design to support feelings of engagement and success. We will share both findings and implications from the study and considerations for universal design of research practices.
