The research examined the relationships among college students’ ADHD symptoms, resilience factors, coping self-efficacy, life satisfaction, and satisfaction with college. Prior research has shown that more ADHD symptoms are related to more stress during college and lower levels of resilience. The present research tested the hypothesis that higher levels of ADHD symptoms would be related to lower levels of life satisfaction and satisfaction with college. Further, we hypothesized that the relationship between ADHD symptoms and satisfaction would be mediated by resilience factors, such that higher levels of resilience would be related to levels of satisfaction higher than predict by ADHD symptoms. The results from an online study involving 558 participants supported these hypotheses.
