Abstract

The research project ALL WOMEN identify actions in adult education contributing to the empowerment of more vulnerable women, providing evidence of their social impact and identifying those characteristics that make them replicable and transferable to other contexts. A systematic literature review and empirical research through 10 case studies in urban and rural settings are being carried out. The findings of the systematic review identified 24 types of educational actions aimed at empowering the most vulnerable women. These actions offer 109 evidence of 36 kinds of social impact in the empowerment of women, their families, and their communities in an urban and rural context in 45 countries around the world.
