The purpose of this study was to analyze the Instagram content that popular, U.S.-based teacherpreneurs on Teachers-Pay-Teachers shared. Specific aims of the study were to identify topics teacherpreneurs share on Instagram and analyze if teacherpreneurs use the platform as educational leaders in order to advance research-based practices and policies that support equitable education. Using a digital content analysis method, researchers' preliminary findings indicate that teacherpreneurs vary in their use of Instagram, but they predominantly engage with their audience by promoting their products. Though at times some teacherpreneurs’ posts advocate for improved instructional practices or policies, they use this opportunity to promote their products as solutions to problems followers may face in the classroom.
