Abstract

Using Clarke's (2009) framework of ethical self-formation as a theoretical lens, this study explores how, by engaging in online teacher education coursework, 15 pre-service content-area teachers construct professional identities to become better prepared to provide a more socially just educational experience in their future classrooms.
