Advancing Professional Development School Research: Summary and Outcomes of a National Research Agenda Collaborative Effort

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to disseminate the results of two years of collaborative work around identification of a research agenda used to guide potential research in and on PDS-SUPs.
The major outcomes from the work will be presented:
• The publication of a Research Agenda that guides potential research, assessment, evaluation and scholarship that promotes and supports school/university partnerships
• The publication of a set of research questions and national or regional, cross-cutting projects to which conference members commit
• Identification of and information on how to obtain national grants that could be used to support the national or regional, cross-cutting research projects
• Presentation and roll out of the Collaborative Report and Rating-Inventory (CoRR-I) Instrument for PDSs/SUPs
