Abstract

This research shows an analysis of the emotions (negative and positive), beliefs and perceptions of Andalusian students of Compulsory Secondary Education about Climate Change.
The sample is formed by 1050 students, 56.2% of 1st grade and 42.8% of 4th grade, from 26 high schools in the 8 provinces of Andalusia. In terms of gender, 50.05% identified themselves as female and 49.95% as male.
The results reveal an intermediate emotional level for all the emotions studied with respect to Climate Change, except for Culpability (low level). In addition, significant differences were observed between these emotions and independent variables such as gender, school grade, Climate Change responsibility and Climate Change risk perception.
