Sat, April 15, 11:40am to 1:10pm CDT (11:40am to 1:10pm CDT), Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park, Floor: 2nd Level, Gold Room

Abstract

Supervision is an essential experience of school counselor education training programs and a part of ongoing professional development for practicing school counselors. The aim of this qualitative case study is to examine the contexts and outcomes of an online synchronous school counseling site supervision training program. More specifically, the current study revealed aspects of content delivery and participant interaction that enhanced their learning as school counseling site supervisors. The study will provide important information for the development and implementation of school counseling site supervision training programs, as well as factors specific to facilitating a synchronous online training environment.
